This 4.5-hour course on Adoption-Sensitive Clinical Care features the Understanding Infant Adoption 7 curriculum designed for hospital-based staff.
This training will explore offering adoption as an option in pregnancy counseling, how the adoption process works in the hospital setting, state and federal adoption laws, making appropriate referrals for patients considering adoption, providing appropriate support and care to those patients implementing an adoption plan, and adoption-sensitive hospital policy.
Participants will learn from a mix of reading sections as well as a variety of interactive activities, prompts for reflection, vignettes, and videos.
While anyone is welcome to participate in this training length, we specifically recommend the 4.5-hour version for:
- Perinatal Social Workers
- Pediatric Social Workers
- Others interested in a more advanced examination of Understanding Infant Adoption

This 6.5-hour course on Adoption-Sensitive Clinical Care features the Understanding Infant Adoption 7 curriculum designed for hospital-based staff.
